A clergyman once said this to William Tyndale:

We had better be without God's laws than the Pope's.

Tyndale responded with this:

I defy the Pope, and all his laws; and if God spares my life, I will cause the boy that drives the plow in England to know more of the Scriptures than the Pope himself!

Thank goodness for men like William Tyndale!

on another note...

my summer schedule has just been ruined this past week! i finally got a job, and at that, its full time too. its a pretty drastic change from going from no work at all and sleeping in to working full time and having to wake up early everyday. i work in the RMA department with my aunt. i think RMA stands for request materials authorization, so basically we just receive computer parts and either send them to the techs to repair or send it back to the customers/vendors. not very exciting.

b4 i started to work i was basically just trying to read a lot. i was alternating books. i think ive hit a phase where i'm getting into puritan works. i started reading jonathan edwards a bit. and then i got this puritan prayers/devotion book which is pretty awesome. i read one every morning now b4 i go to work. i also started reading this book by thomas watson, which is real good too. the puritans are pretty awesome in the way that they write.

on another note, fantasy football is just around the corner, woo hoo!

man, i'm on like a 6 game losing streak in officiated basketball games. the last two tournaments ive played in, we've lost all of our games, so that's 5 games. and then i played in another game for church league and we lost that game too. so its at least 6 games, i cant really remember beyond that. i have to get back into better shape. no more losing, haha.

ok time to finish my history paper...

i went to blockbuster today and when i saw this movie i got excited. i watched it like years ago and kinda forgot about it until now. if ur a basketball fan then u should see this movie. if u arent then u'll probably think its dumb, haha. it is based on a true story tho, that always makes movies like 10 times better in my opinion. and when people call u the "goat", greatest of all time, u kno that's respect.

on another note, one more month of school to go...that's all, haha.
